been my mother's great-grandfather and lived about.1760.  My mother remembered 
him well and told that he had been a very martial gent and often talked to his 
grand children about his adventures when with Napoleon, as general in Russia and 
later on when at the battle of Leipzig (1813) the Saxon army passed over to the 
German and Austrian camps. 

Mother's great grand father was knighted and had the title of "von Felix".
